This site is dedicated to the memory of Jonathan Ellis.

Our Jon was only 28 when he died of SUDEP (Sudden unexpected death in epilepsy) on 20th May 2010. Jon was a gentle, caring, kind and loving son, brother, uncle and friend who is loved and missed by his family and friends. Jon's main interests were playing and watching football, in particular Liverpool FC where he held a season ticket. He also loved music and going to gigs with his friends, the last he went to was N-Dubz. Despite suffering from epilepsy, Jon excelled at school and went on to gain a degree and PG DIP at John Moores University. He then went on to become a licentuate of Royal Town Planners Institute. As a family, we were not aware of the risk of SUDEP and can't help wondering that if we had been, we may have been able to prevent Jon's death and by starting this tribute fund we hope to be able to make other families aware of SUDEP, and hopefully prevent another family from going through the agony of losing someone who is loved so dearly so unexpectedly.
